To suggest hourly rentals online for specific activities,
- Go to SETUP and click on Activities
- Click on an Activity and go to the Rentals tab
- Click "Add" next to the rental you wish to suggest
- Optional: Click on "Use Fixed Cost" and type in the appropriate amount
Note: only use Fixed Cost if you want to suggest the rental at a different rate. Otherwise, it will add the rental with the default price you have set up in Rentals - Click Add; you'll find your rental now in the upper-left corner of the screen
- You'll need to add the promoted rental (aka hourly rental) as a front-end offering via Setup > Web Integration > Offerings so the front-end customers can be routed to that offering's page during the booking process.
Note: if you wish to have this offering also be visible to front-end visitors - separate from this offering - make sure a category is selected during step 6. Otherwise, keep the category unchecked if visitors shouldn't have a page to click on beyond this offering.
The above instructions are for hourly rentals only. This will not work with daily rentals.
You're all set! When customers are booking a reservation for this activity on the front end, it will now ask them if they'd also like to book the suggested rental before checking out (see sample below).
