THE FLYBOOK: FEATURE REQUEST

Since 2006 The Flybook reservation management system has been engineered completely from customer input, feedback and requests. We fully understand that each business is different, and that each business will apply the various tools in the Flybook in their own unique way. That is why all Flybook customers are assigned an Onboarder and are connected with our Support Team. This level of connection ensures that we (The Flybook) can develop an in depth and comprehensive understanding of every business partner.  

 


FAQ's: 

Can anybody make a development request?

  • Yes, as long as they satisfy the "100/100 Principle."  
    • 100/100 Principle: A Flybook user account older than 100 days.  And, an active account with more than 100 reservations. 

Why do you require the "100/100 Principle?"

  • It is important that a user fully adpots, learns, and applys the system to their business.  We have found that many requests made early in the use/adoption process are typically solved with education and training.   
  • What If my account doesn't satisfy the "100/100 Principle" and I submit a request?
    • Thats great!  We welcome requests and love feedback.  But, understand that when we review your submission account status plays into our consideration.  
How does the development team prioritize their projects?
  • All requests are reviewed and filed in our development database. If similar requests are received from other businesses that project is moved up the order.
What is the typical time line for development requests to be completed?
  • Time lines can vary depending on the request.  
  • NOTE: We have found that many development requests require little to no development. Many requests are solved with additional training or through consult with your Flybook support contact.
Do I have to pay for development requests?
  • If we can justify the request as a benefit to the overall product, and/or an upgrade for other customers there is never a charge.
Can I pay for custom development?
  • Yes. But, this is only necessary for extremely unique business needs.

Does every request get completed?

  • Not every request is pushed through.  Through practice and training many requests change, become more refined, or unnecessary. 

Will I be contacted about my request?

  • You will be notified that the request was received. All requests are reviewed, and in most cases our team will have follow up questions or need detailed insight.
