This new feature is designed to make booking reservations on the backend faster and easier for you and your staff. You choose what steps to include or exclude, as well as what order you want those steps to be in.
This feature is already available in your account! To start using this feature, navigate to Setup >Back Office Booking Flow to create a new template!
- The Flybook Original Template is the current booking flow that you are familiar with.
- If a template is not assigned to a starting point, it will default to the Flybook Original Template.
- Templates are assigned globally for the whole account and are not assigned per user.
- If a template is assigned to a starting point, it is assigned for all users in your account.
- Any template can be accessed from the dropdown by the ‘+Start Reservation’ button in the top navigation bar.

- In this example, we specifically book a rental to help highlight a key difference with the new backend booking flow: the start times and durations default to what is set in the rental config setup as opposed to allowing staff to book things at any time for any duration. *Note: There is still a way to override the default start times/durations if needed.
